Prout Quest 31 Catamaran
Description
The Quest 31 is a pioneering British-built cruising catamaran designed and constructed by Prout Catamarans in the United Kingdom beginning in 1970. This 31-foot twin-hulled vessel represents Prout's expertise in creating seaworthy, practical multihulls that balance performance with cruising comfort. Built with fiberglass construction featuring twin keels and a masthead sloop rig, the boat was designed specifically for coastal cruising families seeking the advantages of multihull sailing—shallow draft, spacious accommodations, and impressive passage speeds. The Prout range of catamarans are well proven, cruising multihulls, with a seaworthy design, solid build and pleasing performance. The Quest 31 was replaced by the Quest 33, which was, in turn, replaced by the Event 34, marking its place in the evolution of production cruising catamarans.
