Priviledge 39 Catamaran (Alliaura Marine)
Description
The Privilège 39 is a distinguished French-built cruising catamaran designed by naval architect Eric LeFevre and manufactured by Jeantot Marine (later Alliaura Marine) from 1988 to 1994. Approximately 95 hulls were produced during this six-year production run, with most initially sold to the charter trade. This vessel was also marketed under the names Privilège 12 and Alliaura 39, representing the pioneering era of modern cruising catamarans. The boat established Privilège's reputation for building robust, seaworthy multihulls capable of extended bluewater passages while providing exceptional comfort and stability. Built with solid fiberglass laminate below the waterline, it features twin keels and a cutter rig configuration. The design philosophy emphasized durability and livability over pure speed, making it an ideal platform for long-distance cruising and charter operations.
