Prindle 16

Prindle 16

Description

The Prindle 16 is a legendary beach catamaran designed by Geoffrey Prindle and built by Performance Catamarans Inc. (originally Surfglas/Prindle) starting in 1971. With approximately 9,000 hulls produced, it became one of the most successful small catamarans ever built. This 16-foot twin-hulled vessel features daggerboards and a fractional sloop rig with rotating mast, representing a significant evolution from the simpler Prindle 15. The boat is designed for responsive sailing and easy handling, making it ideal for exploring shallow waters and protected anchorages.
