Pacific Seacraft 44 / Crealock 44
Description
The Pacific Seacraft 44 (also known as the Crealock 44) is an American blue water cruising sailboat designed by the legendary William I. B. Crealock, introduced in 1990. Built by Pacific Seacraft Corporation in Washington, North Carolina, until around 2007, approximately 70–80 units were produced, making it a rare and highly sought-after model. As the flagship of Pacific Seacraft's lineup, it embodies Crealock's philosophy of "voyagemaker" design: a cutter-rigged, double-ended hull with a canoe stern, semi-long fin keel, and skeg-hung rudder for ultimate seaworthiness. Hand-laid with vinylester resins and E-glass for impact resistance, it's renowned for circumnavigations and heavy-weather passages (e.g., Southern Ocean crossings), offering a blend of performance, stability, and luxurious teak interior.
