Pacific Seacraft 34 (Crealock 34 / Voyagemaker 34)

Description

The Pacific Seacraft 34, originally known as the Crealock 34, was designed by renowned British-American naval architect William Atkin Crealock and built by Pacific Seacraft Corporation from 1979 to 1997, with approximately 200 units produced. Introduced in 1979 as a scaled-down evolution of Crealock's iconic Pacific Seacraft 37, this American blue water cruiser emphasizes seaworthiness, simplicity, and offshore capability in a compact package. The 37, introduced in 1980, was followed in 1984 by the 34, though some sources indicate the 34's introduction as early as 1979. The design features fiberglass construction with a fin keel and skeg-hung rudder configuration, displacing 13,500 pounds with 4,800 pounds of lead ballast. Notable characteristics include the Crealock-designed canoe stern with ample overhang, moderate displacement contributing to both comfort and speed, and quality construction evident in solid bronze fittings, teak joinery, hand laid-up hull and molded fiberglass interior. Now known as Pacific Seacraft Voyagemakers, they are part of a five-boat line ranging in size from 34 to 44 feet.
