Paceship P 12 (Oak Island 12)

Description

The Paceship P 12 (also known as the Oak Island 12) is one of the earliest and smallest fiberglass dinghies from Paceship Yachts Ltd. (Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada), designed by George W. McVay. It was first built in 1963 and produced until around 1974, originally marketed as the Oak Island 12 before being rebranded under the Paceship name. This tiny, lightweight centerboard daysailer is an entry-level classic — simple, affordable, and fun for beginners, kids, or casual lake/bay sailing. It's a basic open boat with no frills, emphasizing ease of use and portability.
