Paceship Bluejacket 23
Description
The Paceship Bluejacket 23 (also known as the Bluejacket 23 or Paceship Bluejacket) is a classic Canadian-built fiberglass recreational keelboat from Paceship Yachts Ltd. (Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia). Designed by Cuthbertson & Cassian (C&C Design) in 1967, it was produced from 1967 to around 1974, with at least 107 units built. It came in two main variants: a Daysailer (open or minimal cabin) and a MORC (Midget Ocean Racing Club) compliant version with positive flotation (foam blocks in seats/bow), self-bailing cockpit, and enclosed cabin for better safety and offshore potential. The design is sleek and advanced for its era, featuring a fractional rig, spade rudder, and fixed fin keel.
