PACESHIP 23 (PY23)

Description

The Paceship PY 23 (also called PY23, Paceship PY 23, or simply PY 23) is a popular Canadian trailerable sailboat designed by John Deknatel of C. Raymond Hunt Associates (the same firm behind the O'Day 22 and similar models). It was built by Paceship Yachts Ltd. in Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia, from 1973 to 1981 (later production by AMF in the US after they acquired Paceship). Around 400–500 units were made, making it one of the more common Paceship models. It's a versatile, family-friendly pocket cruiser with good looks, solid build, and trailerability — often praised as a "great little boat" for daysailing, weekends, or light coastal cruising.
