Olympic Adventure 42 Ketch
Description
The Olympic Adventure 42 (also referred to as Olympic 42 or Olympic Adventure 42 Ketch) is a classic, Ted Brewer-designed fiberglass cruising sailboat built by Olympic Marine S.A. in Greece, starting around 1976–1978. This model was produced in limited numbers, emphasizing bluewater-capable cruising with spacious accommodations, solid construction, and good seakeeping. The ketch rig version is the most commonly referenced configuration for this hull, offering easier sail handling, multiple sail combinations for varied conditions, and balanced performance—ideal for shorthanded or long-distance passages. Ted Brewer designed it as a substantial, heavy-displacement cruiser with excellent light-air capability thanks to a generous sail plan.
