The Ohlson 29 is a classic Swedish fiberglass cruiser-racer designed by Einar Ohlson (one of the Ohlson brothers, known for elegant, seaworthy IOR-influenced designs in the 1970s). Built initially by Artekno Oy in Finland (1970–1976) and later licensed to Winga Marine in Sweden (as the Winga 29, with minor differences like saildrive vs. direct shaft transmission), production totaled a modest number of hulls (likely low hundreds across both builders, based on rarity today and historical context). It features solid GRP construction with a fin keel and skeg-hung rudder for balanced handling, protection, and good tracking, a masthead sloop rig for performance and simplicity, and a practical, surprisingly spacious interior for its size (typically 4–6 berths with V-forward, settees, galley, heads, and storage for coastal/weekend cruising).
