North Wind 35

Description

The North Wind 35 is a fiberglass performance cruising sailboat designed for coastal and light offshore sailing, built by the Spanish yard North Wind Yachts (Barcelona) starting in 1987. With limited production (exact numbers scarce, but fewer than 20 units based on listings), it's a masthead sloop featuring a fin keel with spade rudder for responsive handling and a balanced sail plan for versatile performance in moderate conditions. Known for its solid GRP construction, spacious interior for 4-6 (V-berth forward, U-shaped galley, saloon with settees, enclosed head, and quarter berth aft), and practical layout, it's ideal for couples or small families seeking comfort without excess. Standard power was a Mercedes Benz 636 diesel (42 hp).
