Northwind 29

Description

The Northwind 29 (Paceship) is a classic fiberglass masthead sloop designed by the renowned Canadian firm Cuthbertson & Cassian (C&C) and built by Paceship Yachts Ltd. in Windsor, Nova Scotia, Canada, from 1969 to 1972. A total of 104 units were produced, making it a moderately common entry-level cruiser from the era. It features a keel/centerboard hull with a spade rudder for adjustable draft (shallow for trailering/beaching, deep for upwind performance) and balanced handling, ideal for coastal daysailing or short overnights for 2-4 aboard. The interior includes a V-berth forward, convertible settees in the saloon, compact galley, and portable head under ~6' headroom. Auxiliary power was a Universal Atomic 4 gasoline inboard (30 hp).
