Morgan OI 41 Classic MK II
Description
The Morgan Out Island 41 Classic MK II (often abbreviated as Morgan OI 41 Classic MK II) is a popular cruising sailboat model produced in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was designed by renowned naval architect Charlie Morgan and built by Catalina Yachts after their acquisition of Morgan Yachts. This model is an updated version of the original Morgan Out Island 41, featuring improvements like a revised deck design, updated keel and rudder for better performance, and enhanced interior comfort. Approximately 150 of these "Classic" variants were produced, making them relatively rare compared to the original Out Island series (over 1,000 built). They are known for their spacious layout, seaworthiness, and value in the used market, often praised as affordable bluewater cruisers suitable for liveaboard use or long-distance sailing.
