The Morgan 54 Marauder, designed by Charles Morgan and built by Morgan Yachts from 1969 onward in limited production (fewer than 50 units, often sold as hulls for completion), evolves the 1968 CCA racer 'Rage' into a substantial offshore cruiser-racer with fin keel and skeg-hung rudder (7.67 ft draft standard; optional centerboard version reducing to 5.67 ft up and extending to 12.5 ft down for versatile gunkholing), constructed in robust fiberglass for East Coast or transoceanic voyages by crews seeking classic seaworthiness blended with generous volume.
