The Morgan 41 Sloop, designed by Charles Morgan and built by Morgan Yachts from 1967 to 1972 with approximately 350 units produced, epitomizes the CCA-era racer-cruiser ethos through its keel/centerboard hull with protected rudder, offering versatile shallow-draft access (4 ft 2 in fixed keel, extending to 9 ft 5 in with jackknife board) for coastal gunkholing or offshore passages while prioritizing balance and seaworthiness for East Coast or Gulf Stream crossings.
