Mirage 39

Description

The Mirage 39 is a Canadian cruiser-racer sailboat designed by H. Morton and built by Mirage Yachts Ltd. (Pointe-Claire, Quebec) in 1989, marking the final model from the yard before its sale and closure later that year, with only a handful of hulls completed. This fiberglass monohull masthead sloop features a modern hull with a fixed fin keel for offshore stability and a spacious beam enabling comfortable accommodations for 4–6 in a two-cabin layout typically including an owner's stateroom aft, V-berth forward, U-shaped galley, saloon with settees, nav station, and two heads—ideal for extended coastal or bluewater cruising with racing capabilities (PHRF 111). Powered by a reliable Volvo diesel, it offers a hull speed of 7.68 kn and balanced performance in varied conditions, praised for its quality construction and value, though limited production makes examples rare on the market.
