Description
The Mirage 26 (Perry) is a classic Canadian trailerable coastal cruiser-racer designed by Robert Perry and built by Mirage Yachts Ltd. (Pointe-Claire, Quebec) from 1976 to the early 1980s, with around 100 hulls produced. This fiberglass masthead sloop features a moderate-displacement hull with a fixed fin keel and transom-hung rudder for balanced handling and stability, accommodating 4–5 in a cozy interior with V-berth forward, saloon settees, compact galley, nav station, and enclosed head—ideal for weekend family sails, club racing (PHRF ~222), or light coastal passages with a hull speed of 6.24 kn. The standard rig provides a straightforward sailplan for easy single-handing, though it's less powerful in light air than optional tall rig variants; owners appreciate its roomy beam and quality build
