The Mill Creek is a versatile, flat-bottomed recreational kayak or small skiff designed by Chesapeake Light Craft (CLC) in Annapolis, Maryland, introduced in the late 1990s by John C. Harris. It draws inspiration from Chesapeake Bay small craft, blending the sleek lines of a kayak with the stability and capacity of a pram or skiff. Available in three lengths—13', 16.5', and 18'—the Mill Creek is primarily a stitch-and-glue plywood kit boat for amateur builders, emphasizing ease of construction (50–80 hours), lightweight portability, and multi-purpose use: paddling, rowing, sailing, or powering with a small outboard or electric motor.
