Luders 21
Description
The Luders 21 is a classic fractional sloop daysailer and racer designed by renowned American naval architect Alfred E. Luders Jr. (A.E. Luders) in 1967, with production starting that year by Ron Rawson Inc. (later American Plastics Inc.) in the USA. This 21-foot fiberglass monohull embodies the era's shift toward lightweight performance boats, featuring a fin keel with bulb for lift and a narrow beam for agility, making it ideal for club racing, single-handing, or family daysailing in coastal waters. With a focus on simplicity and seaworthiness, it was built in limited numbers (estimated 50-100 hulls) until around 1970, sharing design DNA with Luders' larger cruisers like the Luders 33
