Kingfisher 20

Description

The Kingfisher 20 is a classic British fiberglass sailboat designed as a compact cruiser or day-sailor, ideal for coastal waters, inland seas, or short voyages. Produced in the late 1950s through the 1970s, it's known for its sturdy bilge-keel configuration (twin keels), which allows for drying out in tidal harbors—a common feature in UK designs for North Sea conditions. The boat emphasizes stability, ease of handling, and practicality for small crews or solo sailors, with a simple masthead sloop rig. At around 20 feet in length, it's trailerable and accommodates 2–4 people for overnight trips, though it's best suited for day use or light cruising. This boat was made with many sail rigs, including the junk rig.

Custom sail calculations are not possible for this boat as no I, J, P and E dimensions are available.
