Jeanneau Tonic 23
Description
The Jeanneau Tonic 23 is a compact French trailerable dayboat and pocket cruiser designed by Philippe Harlé and produced by Jeanneau from 1985 to 1989. At under 24 feet LOA, it's optimized for solo or family day sailing, weekend overnights, and easy trailering, with a fractional sloop rig and lightweight fiberglass construction emphasizing fun, responsive handling over long-distance capability. The transom-hung rudder and optional lift keel enhance shallow-water access, making it popular for inland lakes, estuaries, or coastal hopping. Around 200 units were built, and it's appreciated today for its simplicity, seaworthiness in light-moderate conditions, and affordability as an entry-level classic.
