Jeanneau Sunshine 36
Description
The Jeanneau Sunshine 36 is a classic French racer-cruiser designed by Tony Castro as a production version of an IOR One Ton class yacht, built by Jeanneau from 1982 to 1985. At 36 feet LOA, it combines sporty performance with family-friendly accommodations, featuring a wide beam for stability and a truncated stern (unlike the elongated version on its sister Sunshine 38). With fiberglass construction and a masthead sloop rig, it's versatile for coastal racing, club events, or extended cruising, though its age means surveys for osmosis and rigging are essential. Around 100-150 units were produced, and it's cherished for its responsive handling and value.
