Jeanneau Sunrise 34
Description
The Jeanneau Sun Rise 34 (also known as Sunrise 34) is a classic French cruiser-racer designed by Jacques Fauroux and produced by Jeanneau from 1984 to 1989. With an LOA of 34.58 feet, it features a modern hull with a fine entry, broad beam for stability, and a masthead sloop rig optimized for balanced performance in coastal racing or family cruising. Built in fiberglass with iron ballast, it emphasizes speed (moderate sail power) and comfort (spacious teak interior sleeping up to 8), making it a versatile "fast cruiser" for moderate conditions but not heavy offshore use. A total of 629 units were constructed, and it's valued today for its responsive handling and value.
