Jeanneau Sun Light 30
Description
The Jeanneau Sun Light 30 is a classic French racer-cruiser designed by Daniel Andrieu and produced by Jeanneau from 1986 to 1989. At approximately 29 feet LOA, it draws from IOR racing influences for sprightly performance while offering family-friendly volume in a lightweight fiberglass hull, making it ideal for coastal day sails, weekends, or club racing. With a masthead sloop rig, bulbous fin keel options (or keel/centerboard), and a broad stern for stability, it balances speed and comfort but is best suited to protected waters rather than heavy offshore use due to its light displacement. Around 200-300 units were built, and it's appreciated today as an affordable, fun classic with good resale value.
