Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39i

Description

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 39i (often referred to simply as the Sun Odyssey 39) is a versatile French performance cruiser designed by Marc Lombard and produced by Jeanneau from 2007 to 2011. At 38.58 feet LOA, it succeeds the 39 DS model with a focus on balanced sailing, spacious interiors, and easy short-handed operation, making it ideal for family coastal cruising or occasional offshore passages. The fractional sloop rig, bulb keel options, and lightweight fiberglass construction deliver responsive handling and speeds up to 8 knots in moderate winds, while the layout sleeps 6-8 with modern amenities. Over 300 units were built, and it's praised for its build quality, value, and "breeze to operate" nature. A deck saloon variant (Sun Odyssey 39 DS, 2007-2008) adds raised visibility.
