At 37.4 feet LOA, it was one of Jeanneau's early successes, with 494 units built, emphasizing seaworthiness, spacious accommodations, and affordability for long-distance cruising. Marketed in the U.S. under names like Melody or Fantasia, it's renowned for its robust fiberglass construction, center-cockpit layout, and versatility as a sloop or ketch rig—proving capable in circumnavigations and ocean crossings despite its modest size.
