Jeanneau Espace 1100

Description

The Jeanneau Espace 1100 is a pilothouse cruiser sailboat designed by Philippe Briand, serving as the larger sibling to the Espace 1000 in Jeanneau's Espace series. Produced from 1985 to 1989, it features an enclosed wheelhouse for all-weather protection, spacious accommodations, and versatile keel options, making it ideal for family coastal cruising or moderate offshore passages in cooler climates. With a masthead sloop rig and fiberglass construction, it prioritizes comfort and stability over outright speed, boasting a wide beam and skeg-hung rudder for secure handling. Approximately 150-200 units were built.
