Description
The Jeanneau Espace 1000 is a classic French cruiser sailboat designed by renowned naval architect Philippe Briand. Introduced in 1980, it was the first model in Jeanneau's Espace series, a line of six sailboats with designations based on approximate length overall (LOA) in centimeters (here, 1,000 cm or about 33 feet). Known for its spacious interior, enclosed wheelhouse for all-weather sailing, and versatile keel options, it was popular for family cruising and coastal voyages. Production ran from 1980 to 1987, with 228 units built before being discontinued.
