Description
The Jeanneau Sun Dream 28 (often referred to as the Jeanneau 29.5 due to its 29.50 ft LOA) is a classic French family cruiser designed by Tony Castro and produced by Jeanneau from 1987 to 1991. This masthead sloop emphasizes balanced performance, a spacious interior for its era, and ease of handling, making it suitable for coastal cruising, weekends aboard, or light offshore passages. With a fin keel and spade rudder (or optional centerboard for shallow draft), it offers good stability and maneuverability. Approximately 200-300 units were built, and it's valued today for its sturdy GRP construction, simple rigging, and affordability on the used market.
