Islander Freeport 36
Description
The Islander Freeport 36 is a classic fiberglass cruising sailboat designed by Robert Perry and built by Islander Yachts (USA) from 1976 to 1982, with approximately 150-200 units produced. It’s a blue water-capable vessel known for its unique blend of traditional aesthetics, spacious interior, and solid sailing performance, making it a favorite among cruisers and liveaboards. The Freeport 36 is distinct from the later Islander Freeport 38C, which was a redesigned version using the same hull but with updated deck and cabin layouts.
