Description
The Hunter 19 Europa (1972–1982, later renamed the Hunter Europa) is a British 19-foot trailer-sailer designed by David Thomas and built by Hunter Boats (UK). Over 1,200 were produced, making it one of the most successful small British cruising boats of the 1970s. At 19 ft 2 in LOA with a 7 ft beam and a very light displacement of just 1,350–1,500 lbs (depending on keel version), it was offered in three distinct configurations: Fixed shoal keel (draft 2 ft 6 in) Lifting keel (9 in up / 4 ft down) Bilge-keel (twin keels, draft 2 ft 4 in) — by far the most common
