Horizon 23
Description
The Horizon 23 (often referred to simply as the Horizon 23 and sometimes listed as Horizon 23/232 in sales ads) is a British trailerable fractional sloop designed by David Thomas and built by Hunter Boats (UK) from 1985 to 1990, with approximately 200 hulls produced. At 22 ft 9 in LOA with a 7 ft 10 in beam and light displacement of 2,866 lbs (1,323 lbs ballast), it features a fixed fin keel drawing 3 ft 11 in (or optional bilge/twin keels at 3 ft 9 in) and a modest 198 sq ft sail area (fully battened main + 110% jib), making it quick and forgiving for its size with a PHRF around 240–255.
