Hunter 44 DS

Description

The Hunter 44 DS (Deck Saloon, built 2003–2009, approximately 220 hulls produced) is a luxurious 44-foot American cruiser designed by Glenn Henderson, distinguished by its raised deck-saloon coachroof with panoramic windows that flood the interior with light and provide near-360° visibility. At 44 ft 2 in LOA, 14 ft 6 in beam, and ~23,000 lbs displacement, it features a backstay-less B&R rig with in-mast furling mainsail (~950 sq ft upwind), twin helm stations, a massive clear cockpit with arch-mounted traveler, full walk-through transom with drop-down swim platform, and electric winches for effortless short-handed sailing (PHRF ~108–120).
