Hunter336
Description
The Hunter 336 is a popular American coastal cruising sloop designed by Rob Mazza and built by Hunter Marine from 1995 to 2000, with over 1,000 hulls produced—making it one of the yard's all-time best-sellers and a staple for families seeking value-driven, spacious performance. As an evolution of the smaller Hunter 29.5, it features a wide-beam hull with a bulb fin keel and spade rudder for stability and responsiveness, a fractional sloop rig with swept spreaders (B&R style for clean tacking), and a walk-through transom for easy boarding—ideal for shorthanded coastal hops, club racing, or weekend escapes in protected waters like the Great Lakes or Chesapeake Bay. The aft cockpit comfortably seats 6-8 with higher backrests and a built-in table, while the airy interior (light oak or teak) offers flexible 2-cabin layouts sleeping 4-6, with a full wraparound settee for entertaining.
