Hunter 240
Description
The Hunter 240 (built 1998–2004, with roughly 900 hulls produced) is an American trailerable pocket cruiser designed by the Hunter Design Team as a direct successor to the popular Hunter 23.5/26 water-ballast series, but with a conventional fixed winged keel instead of water ballast. At 24 ft LOA (26 ft with the sugar-scoop transom) and a very generous 8 ft 3 in beam, it has a trailering weight of just 4,600 lbs (including tandem-axle trailer) and draws only 2 ft with the wing keel retracted into its stub (or 5 ft 6 in fixed down).
