Hunter 212
Description
The Hunter 212 (built 1996–2003, with roughly 800 hulls produced) is an American trailerable daysailer/pocket cruiser designed by the Hunter Design Team as a direct, slightly larger replacement for the popular Hunter 20/23 series. At 21 feet LOA with an exceptionally wide 8-foot 2-inch beam and an all-up trailering weight of only 2,200 lbs (including trailer), it is one of the roomiest and most car-towable 21-footers ever made. It features an innovative composite construction: vacuum-bagged fiberglass hull with a one-piece thermoformed plastic inner liner that creates huge interior volume, built-in positive foam flotation, and a virtually unsinkable structure.
