Hunter 19-2
Description
The Hunter 19-2 (sometimes called the Hunter 19 Mk II or simply H19) is a compact, trailerable daysailer/weekender built by Hunter Marine from 1993 to 2000. It replaced the original Hunter 19 (1989–1992) and was later succeeded by the water-ballasted Hunter 212/216 series. Designed for easy trailering, quick rigging, and family-friendly sailing, it’s one of the most popular small keelboats ever made in the USA. Thousands were sold — exact numbers are not published, but Hunter owners’ groups and resale data suggest well over 2,000 units were produced during its 8-year run.
