Hallberg Rassy 45
Description
The Hallberg-Rassy 45 is a premium center-cockpit bluewater cruising sloop designed by Germán Frers and built by Hallberg-Rassy Varv AB in Ellös, Sweden, from 1988 to 1996, with 71 hulls produced. As the first Hallberg-Rassy model from Frers (marking a shift to more modern lines while retaining the brand's signature seaworthiness), it was a trendsetter for the yard, introducing an external lead keel, robust hull stiffeners, and a spacious teak interior in a 45-foot package. This heavy-displacement cruiser excels in offshore passages with its encapsulated long fin keel for stability, protected cockpit for safety, and balanced helm for shorthanded handling—ideal for couples or families seeking luxury and reliability in all conditions.
