Gulfstar 37
Description
The GULFSTAR 37 is a cruising yacht designed by V.S. Lazzara. Built by Gulfstar Yachts (founded by Vince Lazzara in St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay, Florida) from 1976 to 1979. Production was relatively short, with a limited number produced during Gulfstar's transition toward higher-performance designs and away from earlier motorsailer-heavy focus. The company shifted more to powerboats by the mid-1980s and ceased sailboat production entirely by 1987 (sold to Viking Yachts).
