Formosa 35
Description
The Formosa 35 sailboat was a fiberglass cruising cutter-rigged model produced by Formosa Boat Building Co. (also known as Queen Long Marine Industrial Co.) in Taiwan during the 1970s. Designed by William Garden, it measured approximately 35 feet in length overall (LOA), with a beam of about 10 feet 6 inches and a draft of around 5 feet 6 inches. It's a classic double-ender style, popular among blue water sailors for its seaworthiness, though production numbers were limited compared to more famous Formosa models like the 41 or 43. Surviving examples occasionally appear on the used market today.
