Flying Fifteen
Description
The Flying Fifteen is a high-performance, two-person keelboat designed in 1947 by the legendary Uffa Fox. Still actively raced worldwide in 2025, it blends dinghy-like responsiveness with keelboat stability, making it one of the most enduring one-design classes in sailing history. Over 4,100 boats have been built, with fleets thriving in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, South Africa, and pockets of the US and Europe. “A boat that planes upwind and screams downwind—yet never scares you.” – Classic F15 slogan
