Fantasia 35

Description

The Fantasia (often called Fantasia 35 or Tung Hwa Fantasia) is a Taiwanese-built fiberglass cruising sloop designed by Bruce Bingham and produced by Tung Hwa Industrial Co. Ltd. (Kaohsiung, Taiwan) from 1978 to 1985. Approximately ~100 units were built, making it a classic "Taiwan boat" from the era when yards like Tung Hwa (famous for CT, Ta Shing) exported affordable, solid cruisers to the U.S. and Europe. Inspired by Bingham's Flicka 20 philosophy—seaworthy, traditional lines in modern materials—the Fantasia 35 is a full-keel double-ender with cutter rig, emphasizing offshore stability and liveaboard comfort. It's not related to the French Harlé Fantasia 34/35.
