Ericson 29 Std
Description
The Ericson 29 is a classic fiberglass production sailboat designed by Bruce King and built by Ericson Yachts in Irvine, California, from 1970 to 1979, with approximately 600 units produced. Evolving from the Ericson 27, it features a fin keel, spade rudder, raked stem, and reverse transom, offering a balance of performance and comfort for coastal cruising and club racing. Equipped with inboard engines (typically Atomic 4 gasoline or later diesel conversions), tiller steering (wheel optional), and standard or tall rig variants, it’s known for its responsive handling, sturdy construction, and spacious interior for a sub-30-footer.
