Ericson 26-2
Description
The Ericson 26-2 (also referred to as the Ericson 26 Mk II) is a compact cruiser-racer designed by Bruce King and built by Ericson Yachts from 1972 to 1984. With approximately 300–400 hulls produced, it’s a refined successor to the original Ericson 26 (1966–1968, designed by Carl Crealock), offering a modernized hull, increased interior volume, and improved performance for coastal cruising, daysailing, or club racing (PHRF ~210–225). Featuring a fin keel (or optional wing/shoal keel), spade rudder, and masthead sloop rig, it’s agile, easy to handle for small crews (2–4), and trailerable (~6,000 lb with trailer).
