Ericson 26 (By Crealock)

Description

The Ericson 26 sailboat refers to two distinct models produced by Ericson Yachts: the original Ericson 26 (1966–1968, ~50–100 built, designed by Carl Crealock) and the more common Ericson 26-2 (1972–1984, ~300–400 built, designed by Bruce King). Both are compact cruiser-racers ideal for coastal daysailing, club racing (PHRF ~210–225), or weekend overnights for 2–4, emphasizing simplicity, trailerability, and Ericson's signature quality fiberglass construction. The 26-2 is the more popular and refined version, with a modern hull for better light-air performance and interior volume, while the original is a classic full-keel trailer-sailer.
