Elite 37 Tall Rig

Elite 37 Tall Rig

Description

The Elite 37 Tall Rig sailboat is a performance-oriented masthead sloop designed by renowned Canadian yacht designer Ron Holland, built by Kirié (France) from 1981 to 1987. It features fiberglass construction, a fin keel with spade rudder (with options for shoal draft fixed keel or keel/centerboard configurations), and the tall rig variant offers a taller mast for increased sail area and improved performance in lighter winds compared to the standard rig. This cruiser-racer balances speed and handling with comfortable accommodations, including a Volvo diesel auxiliary, and is noted for its stability, offshore capability, and competitive racing history.
