Elite 364 (Feeling 1040)
Description
The Elite 364 (also marketed as the Feeling 1040 in some regions) is a French performance cruiser/racer designed by Philippe Harlé and Mortain & Mavrikios and built by Alliaura Marine (Kirié) in France from 1988 onward (production continued into the 1990s). It was produced in a limited series (exact numbers not widely published but relatively small), featuring a sleek fiberglass hull with a fin keel and spade rudder, a masthead sloop rig optimized for balanced speed and handling, and a spacious, well-finished interior for 6–7 people (forward V-berth, large saloon, U-galley, enclosed head(s)). The boat is celebrated for its efficient deck layout (all lines led aft to the cockpit), strong construction, comfortable motion, and good all-around performance in coastal and moderate offshore conditions — a practical French design blending racing heritage with cruising comfort.
