Description
The Elite 346 (also known as Kirié Elite 346 or sometimes marketed as Feeling 1040 in certain regions) is a French cruiser/racer designed by Philippe Harlé and Mortain & Mavrikios and built by Alliaura Marine (Kirié) in France from 1985 to 1991. It was produced in a limited series (exact number not widely documented but estimated in the low hundreds), featuring a fiberglass monohull with a fin keel and spade rudder, a masthead sloop rig optimized for balanced performance and good upwind ability, and a spacious interior for 4–6 people (V-berth forward, saloon settees, galley, enclosed head). The boat is known for its solid construction, comfortable layout, stability, and versatile sailing characteristics suitable for coastal cruising, club racing, or family outings — a practical French design from the late 1980s.
