Dreadnought 32

Description

The Dreadnought 32 is a rugged, blue water-capable sailboat designed by renowned naval architect William Atkin (original Tahiti Ketch in 1932) and modernized by Robert Perry (as the Tahiti Ketch) and further refined by William Crealock with a cutter or ketch rig. Built by Dreadnought Boatworks in Carpinteria, California (USA) from the early 1970s to the mid-1980s, it's celebrated for its heavy-displacement seaworthiness, inspired by classic double-ended fishing boats. Many (over 100) were sold as hull/kit forms for owner completion, appealing to DIY cruisers.
