Dingo 15

Description

The Dingo 15 is a lightweight, high-performance fiberglass catamaran sailboat designed by J.R. (Rod) Macalpine-Downie and Dick Gibbs, built by MFG Boat Company (Sail MFG) in the United States starting in 1963. As an early beach cat, it was ahead of its time, emphasizing simplicity, speed, and portability for recreational sailing, club racing, or family day sails on lakes, bays, or coastal waters. At just under 15 feet, it's highly trailerable and beach-launchable, with a sloop or cat rig (sail area 160 ft² with jib) and a single centerboard connected to the aft beam for responsive handling. Production was limited (fewer than 100 hulls estimated), making it a rare classic today.

Custom sail calculations are not possible for this boat as no I, J, P and E dimensions are available.
